It flows in boiling water at about 100 degrees and the ice water doesn’t mix with the warm so there for it goes under it.

A ball is dropped from the top of the building.it initially moves at 4.0 m/s after 0.5 seconds it moves at 3.8m/s what force is
Ivahew [28]

The correct answer is

Air resistance

In fact, when a ball is in free fall, there are two forces acting on it:

- its weight (force of gravity), acting downward

- the air resistance, acting upward

The effect of the weight is to accelerate the ball, because its direction is the same as the direction of motion of the ball, while the effect of the air resistance is to slow down the ball, because its direction is opposite to that of the motion.

NEED SCIENCE HELP:
Keith_Richards [23]
1) electrons
2) negative
3) negative
4) charge cannot be created or destroyed, just transferred
5)
6) does not allow electrons to move through it
7)plastic
8)conduct the lightning away from the house
9) electrical current

I hope this helps! I know about each of those laws for number 5, however the question didn't give a good description of any of the laws.

Best wishes!

A student releases a block of mass m at the top of a slide of height h1. the block moves down the slide and off the end of the t
Virty [35]

Answer:

B)   d = √  ( 4 h₂ ( H - 2h₂))

Explanation:

A) 1) If the height of the slide is very small, there is no speed to leave the table, therefore do not recreate almost any horizontal distance

2) If the height is very small downwards, it touches the earth a little and the horizon is small,

B) to find an equation for horizontal distance (d)

We must maximize the speed at the bottom of the slide let's use energy

Starting point Higher

          Em₀ = U = m g h₁

Final point. Lower (slide bottom)

            Emf = K + U = ½ m v² + m gh₂

As there is no friction the energy is conserved

             mgh₁ = ½ m v² + mgh₂

             v² = 2 g (h₁-h₂)

This is the speed with which the block leaves the table, bone is the horizontal speed (vₓ)

The distance traveled when leaving the table can be searched with kinematics, projectile launch

           x = v₀ₓ t

          y = v_{oy} t - ½ g t²

The height is the height of the table (y = h₂), as it comes out horizontally the vertical speed is zero

         t = √ 2h₂ / g

We substitute in the other equation

         d = √ (2g (h₁-h₂))  √ 2h₂ / g

         d = √ (4 h₂ (h₁-h₂))

         H = h₁ + h₂

         h₁ = H -h₂

         d = √  ( 4 h₂ ( H - 2h₂))

if a sine wave representing ac voltage has an effective value of 70 vac what would be the waves peak value
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

99 V

Explanation:

The effective voltage of an AC current (also called rms voltage) is given by

V_{rms} = \frac{V_0}{\sqrt{2}}

where

Vrms is the rms voltage

V0 is the peak voltage

In this problem, we know the effective voltage:

V_{rms} = 70 V

Therefore, we can re-arrange the equation to find the peak voltage:

V_0 = V_{rms} \sqrt{2} =(70 V)(\sqrt{2})=99 V
