Analyze the results of a cross between two organisms that are both heterozygous for two different genes (AaBb). Use a Punnett sq

uare to evaluate the possible genotypes. (1) List all the genotypes from your Punnett Square in the answer space. (2) Determine how many phenotypes can be produced in the offspring. (3) Determine the probability of producing offspring with the aabb genotype.
im stuck on this one can some one answer it in less than a few sentences for me?

(1) All the genotypes are as follows: AABB, AaBB, AABb, AaBb, aaBB, aaBb, AAbb, Aabb, aabb.

(2) Assuming that Aa is dominant and Bb is recessive, there will be 9 phenotypes with both A and B allele dominant (i.e. AaBb, AABb); there will be 3 phenotypes with just the A allele dominant (i.e. Aabb, AAbb); there will be 3 phenotypes with just the B allele dominant (i.e. aaBb, aaBB); and there will be 1 phenotype with both alleles recessive (i.e. aabb). The phenotypic ratio in this case is 9:3:3:1.

(3) The probability of producing an offspring with the aabb genotype is 1/16 or 6%.

"In order to reconstruct the diet of Neandertals, scientists have analyzed the stable isotopes of nitrogen and carbon in Neander
Virty [35]

Answer:

Big mammals as bears or Mammoths.

Explanation:

Neanderthal had a diet based in different food, for example, there are some evidence that they were feed on nuts, mushroom, and moss. The quantity of veggies were different depending the season and the region of the planet the neanderthals were. Of course, most of their diet were based in meat, basically of big animals because the evidence is that they had a digestive system appropriate to eat lean protein.

Studies of the bones and the coprolites showed a ratio of different elements as nitrogen and carbon, the ratio of the heavier element to the lighter, show the relationship among the meat/vegetable diet.

Hope this info is useful.

The most interesting results obtained in animal models of passive immunotherapies developed according to the “amyloid-beta cascade hypothesis” and the “Tau hypothesis” are monoclonal antibodies that directly or indirectly target Aβ plaques or neurofibrillary tangles. Unfortunately, these therapeutic antibodies cannot replicate their promising effects on humans at the clinical phase. Despite this, we still hope to learn from these failures and to explore new pathways. The great effects obtained in animals with passive immunotherapy suggest that this technology may be an important key to curative treatment. The remaining challenge is to find a way to achieve the same encouraging results for humans. Alzheimacy expects to join hands with global partners to focus on the development of therapeutic antibodies for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and continue to fight against this disease.

garik1379 [7]

Answer:

c. When a rose bush cell divides, it copies its parts then divides into two cells and

d. The bacterium was formed when another bacterium divided

Explanation:

C is correct because the cells inside are part of a larger being (the rose bush), when they divide they are simply creating more cells (hence making the rose bush grow).

D is correct because bacterium are unicellular organisms, meaning they are themselves single cells that are organisms, unlike the rose bush consisting of many cells.
