When Kw = [H+] [OH-]

when Kw is the ion-product constant for water = 1 x 10^-14

and [H+] is the hydrogen concentration (which we need to calculate)

and [OH-] = 0.65 M

so by substitution:

1 x 10^-14 = [H+] * 0.65

∴[H+] = 1.54 x 10^-14 m

What is dew point?
Paraphin [41]

Answer: The clouds formed by condensation are an intricate and critical component of Earth's environment. Clouds regulate the flow of radiant energy into and out of Earth's climate system. They influence the Earth's climate by reflecting incoming solar radiation (heat) back to space and outgoing radiation (terrestrial) from the Earth's surface. Often at night, clouds act as a "blanket," keeping a portion of the day's heat next to the surface. Changing cloud patterns modify the Earth's energy balance, and, in turn, temperatures on the Earth's surface.

Which conclusion can be made from Gay-Lussac's law? (1 point)
MrRa [10]

The answer to the question <u>Which conclusion can be made from Gay-Lussac's law</u> is For a constant volume, the pressure of a gas is directly proportional to the temperature in Kelvin

Gay-Lussac's law shows the relationship between the pressure of a fixed mass of gas and its temperature in Kelvin.

It states that for a constant volume, the pressure of a gas is directly proportional to the temperature in Kelvin.

Mathematically, P ∝ T

P = kT

\frac{P}{T} = k

\frac{P_{1} }{T_{1} } = \frac{P_{2} }{T_{2} }

So, the answer to the question <u>Which conclusion can be made from Gay-Lussac's law</u> is For a constant volume, the pressure of a gas is directly proportional to the temperature in Kelvin
