If a Lion is going 50 mph constantly, while a elephant is going 25 mph constantly to compete in a 200 mile race. how long will i

t take for the lion to finish the race and how much shorter will the race have to be for the elephant and the lion to finish at the same time? Graph your equation out.

The lion travels at 50x miles, x being the hours. The elephant is 25x.
50x = 200
25x = 200

x = 4 hours for the lion to finish.
x = 8 hours for the elephant to finish

according to this linear equation, there would have to be no race, or a race of 0 miles for them to finish the same. But obviously races of 0 miles dont exist, so there would not be a race.
