The ottomons never found much logic in invading that region of Arabia because it comprised of mainly desert territory and barren of any known natural resources.

Answer:The Ottoman Empire, like most throughout history, were more interested in taking coastal ports which would give them access to world trade. Central Africa, the middle of Saudi Arabia, at that time had no known resources. (Of course today, with oil in Saudi Arabia, it is a different matter). Also, it is not easy to conquer and more importantly keep, territory that is far from the coast.
