Angle KMQ and angle RNL are  on apposite sides of the transversal and between above and below (exterior to) the parallel lines, so they are alternate exterior angles.  Theorem - Alternate exterior angles formed by parallel lines and a transversal have the same measure.

Answer: Alternative exterior angle theorem.

Explanation:

Since, here PQ and RS are parallel lines and these lines are cut by the same transversal  KL.

And, According to the Alternative exterior angle theorem, when two parallel lines are cut by a transversal , the resulting alternate exterior angles made by these parallel lines are congruent.

After making the diagram of the above situation, we found that \angle KMQ ( on line PQ) and \angle RNL(on line RS)  are alternative angles made by common transversal KL.

Thus, according to the above theorem they must be equal to each other.

That is, m\angle KMQ=m\angle RNL.

-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

x= 13.25

Step-by-step explanation:

If you simplify that it becomes 8x-6= 100

Then, if you rearrange it, its 8x= 100+6 or 8x=106

So that means x= 13.25

Question 6. A teacher is picked at random. 3/5 chance they are female. 36 are males. (3 marks) How many teachers are there altog
Sloan [31]
If there is a 60% chance there are female, then that must mean that 40% of the teachers are male.
If 40% of all the teachers is 36, then 20% of all the teachers are 18 in number
So, when we multiply 20% by 5 (to get 100% = all the teachers), we get:
18 x 5 = 90 teachers in total
Hope I helped xx

What is the equation of the axis of symmetry for the parabola y = 2/3 (x - 2)^2 - 5?
katovenus [111]
For
y=a(x-h)^2+k

the axis of symmetry is x=h

so
y=2/3(x-2)^2-5
the axis of symmetry is x=2
