The absolute value equation is x^{2} -15x+26 =0, if the equation has a two solutions of x=2 and x=13.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given is,

        Two solutions

                  x = 2

                  x = 13

Step:1

       We form the equation by the reverse method of Quadratic equation solve method,

        For first solution,

                                  x = 2

                            x - 2 = 0..............................(1)

        For second solution.

                                 x = 13

                          x - 13 = 0..............................(2)

       From the equations (1) and (2)

                         ( x - 2 ) ( x - 13 ) = 0

      Multiply the equations,

                   x^{2}  -15x-2x+26=0

                           x^{2} -15x+26=0

Step:2

       Check for solution,

                           x^{2} -15x+26=0

       Substitute the x value,

                         2^{2} -15(2)+26=0

                               4 - 30 +26=0

                                  -26+26 = 0

                                              0 = 0

Result:

          The absolute value equation is x^{2} -15x+26 =0, if the equation has a two solutions of x=2 and x=13.

Minimum point of the quadratic x^2+6x-2
WITCHER [35]

Answer:

(-3,-11)

Step-by-step explanation:

Compare the given quadratic equation with the general quadratic equation.

a=1, b=6 and c=-2

x=-\dfrac{(6)}{2(1)}\\=-3

Subsitute -3 for x in given quadratic equation.

y=(-3)^2+6(-3)-2\\=9-18-2\\=-11

The minimum point is (-3,-11).

Answer:

0

Step-by-step explanation:

Combine like terms, perform the operations with the coefficients of the variable, then write the variable.

10r - 5r + 3r - 8r

= 5r + 3r - 8r

= 8r - 8r

If z varies inversely as w, and z= 3 when w=4, find z when w=2.<br> Z=
vivado [14]

Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

Inverse proportion.

z = k/w

z = 3, w = 4

Solve for k constant.

3 = k/4

(4)3 = (4)k/4

12=k

The value of k constant is 12.

z = k/w

Put w as 2 and k as 12 and solve for z.

z = 12/2

z = 6

The value of z when w equals 2 is 6.
