In order to determine if a reactant is in excess or limiting, we must first know the required amount of reactants. This is referred to as the stoichometric amount of reactant, and it is obtained from the chemical equation.
From the equation, we form a ratio of the reactants. The reactant supplied in excess of that ratio is the excess reactant, while the other is the limiting reactant.

The number  of Ml  of  a  0.40 %w/v solution  of   ,nalorphine  that must  be injected  to  obtain  a  dose  of 1.5 mg is  calculated as  below


since M/v%   is  mass  of solute  in  grams per 100  ml

convert Mg to  g
1 g = 1000 mg  what  about  1.5 mg =?  grams
=   1.5 /1000 = 0.0015 grams


volume is therefore =  100 (  mass/ M/v%)

= 100  x(  0.0015/ 0.4) =  0.375  ML

If you boiled the water at the top of the mountain would you expect it to boil at 100Degree celsius

Depends on the height of the mountain. At 2500km (7500ft) it might boil-albeit reluctantly-at 100 degrees Celsius, but higher up not so much.

the buret is dirty and drops of NaOH cling to the side walls of the buret as it drained. How does this affect the result for NaO

Since this has to do with titration, the measured volume of NaOH used would be less than the actual volume used because some of the unused NaOH would cling to the sides of the buret and therefore wouldn't factor into the measurement
