Area is just L•W
Since all the sides are the same just multiply 6•6.
If you are looking for perimeter just add all 4 side lengths up: L+L+W+W
6+6+6+6.

Find the value of x that would make line p parallel to line r
Snowcat [4.5K]
There is a theorem that says if parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then same-side interior angles are supplementary (add up to 180 degrees).

If lines p and r were parallel, then angles 28 and (3x + 2) would add up to 180 degrees.

(28) + (3x + 2) = 180
3x + 30 = 180
3x = 150
x = 50

Jennifer used 0.42 gallons of paint to completely cover a square wall with an area of 168 square feet. Which measurement is clos
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

The answer to this question is: 12.96 ft ≈ 13 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Area 168 ft²

Length = ?

Volumen = 0.42 gallons

But we do not need the volume of paint because we know that the wall is squared-shape.

Only we need to know the formula to obtain the area of an square.

Formula   area = length²

So            168 = length²

Finally      √168 = length

             length = 12.96 ≈ 13 ft
