So we want to know the height of the image Hi. The formula for magnification M is:

M=(Hi/H0)=-(Di/D0), where Hi is the height of the image, H0 is the height of the object, Di is the distance of the image form the lens and D0 is the distance of the object from the lens.

Here we have: H0=6 cm, Di=4 cm and D0= 8 cm.

Hi=-(Di/D0)*H0 = -(4/8)*6=-24/8=3 cm.

So the height of the image Hi=3 cm.

The equator is the line of latitude that separates the earth into the northern and southern hemisphere.Its magnitude is 0 degrees latitude. The equator and other lines of latitude are parallel to each other. The lines of longitude which is 0 degrees is known as the Greenwich meridian. The longitudinal lines however are not parallel as they converge at the poles.

Which classification scheme is based on the brightness of a star as it appears to you in the night sky?
anastassius [24]
The apparent magnitude scale is a classification scheme which is based on the brightness of stars. The range of brightness values is from 1 to 6.
The stars which are the most brightest are ranked as number 1 and also called first magnitude stars, stars which are little dimmer than number 1 are ranked as number 2 and also called second magnitude stars. Similarly the most faintest stars are ranked number 6 and also called as the sixth magnitude stars.

A 3. 5-a current is maintained in a simple circuit with a total resistance of 1500 ω. What net charge passes through any point i
melamori03 [73]

Electric Current:

Electric current is the flow of charge through a given circuit per unit time. Electric current is one of the components needed to calculate the electric power that a device needs to operate and do work. Electric current is measured in amperes (A), which is equal to:

            1A = 1 C/ s

Recall that the coulomb (C) is the unit for charge while the second (s) is the unit for time

Given: I = 3.5

A is the current

Δt =30 s is the time interval

                     A =ΔQ/ΔT

Net charge = 100C

Electricity is produced when an electric current runs through a circuit.

How does electric current work?

A current of electricity is a steady flow of electrons. When electrons move from one place to another, round a circuit, they carry electrical energy from place to place like marching ants carrying leaves. Instead of carrying leaves, electrons carry a tiny amount of electric charge.

The reason galaxies that are distant from our galaxy move away from our galaxy more rapidly than those that are near is:
Nataliya [291]

The reason galaxies that are distant from our galaxy move away from our galaxy more rapidly is more space expands between us and distant galaxies.

What is a galaxy?

A galaxy is a group of millions of stars and their systems that are grouped due to gravitational forces.

According to the Big Bang theory, galaxies are expanding and separate among them.

In conclusion, the reason galaxies that are distant from our galaxy move away from our galaxy more rapidly is more space expands between us and distant galaxies.
