Me. Silvera bought a can of paint. He used 3/8 of it to paint a fence and 1/4 to paint a table top. He painted a chair with some

of the paint. He had 1/8 of a can left. How much did he use to paint the chair?

Well, seeing the information above, he used 5/8 of paint to paint the fence and table top. If he only had 1/8 left of the paint, he used 2/8 on the chair.

I found the 5/8 because I needed a common denominator. I multiplied the top and bottom by 2 to get 2/8. 3/8+2/8=5/8, and then I added 2/8 to the 5/8 that then gave me 7/8 of paint used, and 1/8 of paint left.

The answer to the problem is C 2^12 the reason is because 16^3 is 4,096 and
2^7=128
2^11=2,048
2^12=4,096 which is what we want so this is the answer
2^64=18,447,744,073,709,551,616 which is not even close to what we want at all

So the answer is C 2^12
