Hello! The polar jet stream contains strong winds that moves weather around different parts of the globe. It affects the weather and temperature, because they push air masses around, and separates warm and cold air. Cold fronts formed from cold air represents represents low pressure systems, which consists of rain or other precipitation, while warm fronts represent high pressure systems and sunny weather. They play an effect on air transportation, because planes travel faster along the jet stream, but they also have to do with global warming.

Yes of course!
In the most catastrophic case, it can kill hundreds of thousands through hurricanes and the things that come with hurricanes.
Droughts can cause death by both dehydration and starvation if the rain is the only dependable source of arrogation
Too much rain causes floods which can be fatal too

Drag the labels from the left to the correct locations in the table to contrast r- and K-selection.
Mandarinka [93]
I don’t see any labels, but remember that humans are a great example of a k-selected species. High rates of parental care leads to high survivorship of offspring, and thus negates the need to have large amounts of offspring.

R-selected species are quite the opposite. They produce large amounts of offspring at many intervals in an attempt to maximize survivorship, as they don’t have strong parental involvement with their young. Think of insects.

A)what would happen to the quantity of sweat when temperature increases? explain why it happen.
Brrunno [24]

i'm sorry i didn't understand b and c but i can help you with a)

Explanation:

The human body has the ability to thermoregulate, so when the temperature rises, the blood vessels dilate, and the body emits more heat than it receives, and therefore sweat is released to cool the body. Hence, the higher the temperature the greater the sweating

hope it helps ;)
