Hypothesis is a proposed mechanism / way for a scientific phenomenon or observation.

As given that we are adding nutrients in the form of compost to the soil, this will definitely enhance the growth of the plants as nutrients are essential for plant growth

so the hypothesis can be drafted or stated as

If we add nutrients to the soil as compost, the plants will show a better growth (in every aspect), the process of succession of growth will get enhanced due to presence of more fertile and nutrient rich soil.

If the pressure at a depth of 8 ft below the surface of a stagnant fluid is 3.5 psi, what will the pressure of the liquid be at
alexandr402 [8]

Answer : The pressure of the liquid at depth of 48 ft below the surface of fluid is, 21 psi.

Explanation : Given,

The pressure of the liquid at depth 8 ft = 3.5 psi

Now we have to calculate the pressure of the liquid at depth 28 ft.

According to the question,

As, the depth of 8 ft below the surface of a stagnant fluid has pressure = 3.5 psi

So, the depth of 48 ft below the surface of a stagnant fluid has pressure = \frac{3.5\text{ psi}}{8\text{ ft}}\times 48\text{ ft}=21\text{ psi}

Therefore, the pressure of the liquid at depth of 48 ft below the surface of fluid is, 21 psi.

s344n2d4d5 [400]
1. start with balanced equation.
2 H2(g) + O2(g<span>) </span><span> 2 H</span>2O(g<span>)
</span>
2. Use stoichiometry
(3.4moles of H)(2moles of H2O/2moles of H)
The moles of H will cancel, leaving you with moles of H2O.
The answer is 3.4 moles of H2O
