Answer:

    m = 20 minutes

Explanation:

given,

The Wayside Hotel charges its guests $1 plus $0.80 per minute for long distance calls.

The Blue Sky Hotel charges its guests $2 plus $0.75 per minute for long distance calls.

let the distance be m

wayside hostel charge = $1 + 0.8 m

Blue Sky Hotel charges = $2 + 0.75 m

the length of call for which the company will charge same is

        $1 + 0.8 m = $2 + 0.75 m

              0.05 m = $2 - $1

              0.05 m = $1

                      m = 20 minutes

hence, the length of call for which the charge will be same is equal to 20 minutes.

Why do you think a human needs only one egg at a time
babunello [35]
Because we can reproduce with just one and if more eggs were released, the female reproductive life (which is 40 years) would be shorter and so there would be less time for every female human to reproduce since the amount of eggs is limited. (Also fraternal twins come from 2 eggs released at the same time)

Long sand ridges oriented at right angles to the wind are called _____ dunes
S_A_V [24]

The answer is:

Transverse dune

The explanation:

Transverse dune : is abundant barchan dunes It  may merge into barchanoid ridges, which then grade into linear .

The transverse dunes is called that because they lie transverse, or across, the wind direction, with the wind blowing perpendicular to the ridge crest.

It is large, very asymmetrical, elongated dune lying at right angles 90° to the prevailing wind direction.

Transverse dunes have a gently sloping windward side and a steeply sloping leeward side.

They general form in areas of sparse vegetation and abundant sand are transverse dunes.

A compound is found to have a molar mass of 598 g/mol. if 0.0358 g of the compound is dissolved in enough water to make 175 ml o
zalisa [80]

π=iMRT

Where, π is Osmotic pressure,
i=1 for non-electrolytes,
M is molar concentration of dissolved species (units of mol/L)
R is the ideal gas constant = 0.08206 L atm mol⁻¹K⁻¹,
T is the temperature in Kelvin(K),

Here, to calculate M convert into standard units mg tog, ml to L, c to Kelvin
M= (\frac{35.8}{598} *10⁻³ )/ 0.175 =(5.987 *10⁻⁵)mol / 0.175L = 34.21*10⁻⁵ mol/L

π=iMRT=(1)*(34.21*10⁻⁵)*(0.08206)*(298.15)=837×10⁻⁵= 8.37×10⁻³ atm
=6.36 torr
(1 atm=760 torr, 1 Kelvin =273.15 °C, 1L=1000ml, 1g=1000mg)
