Area for a circle is A= \pi r^2.  We will fill in each area and then solve for the radius.  530.66m^2= \pi r^2 and \frac{530.66m^2}{3.14}=r^2.  ∴169=r^2 and r = 13.  For b, 907.46ft^2= \pi r^2 and \frac{907.46ft^2}{3.14}=r^2.  289=r^2, ∴ r = 17.  For c, 379.94mi^2= \pi r^2, and \frac{379.94mi^2}{3.14}=r^2.  ∴, 121=r^2 and r = 11.  For d, 1962.5cm^2= \pi r^2, and \frac{1962.5cm^2}{3.14}=r^2.  ∴, 625=r^2 so r = 25.  And there you have it!

Solve for x: 2x-5=49
elena-s [515]

2x-5=49

move -5 to the other side

sign changes from -5 to +5

2x-5+5= 49+5

2x=49+5

2x= 54

divide both sides by 2 to get x by itself

2x/2= 54/2

cross out 2 and 2, divide by 2 and then becomes 1*1*x=x

54/2= x

x= 27

Charlotte is running at a rate of 9\,\dfrac{\text{km}}{\text{h}}9
finlep [7]
<h3>Answer: Charlotte's speed in meter/second is 2.5m/s.</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given speed of Charlotte in kilometer per hour = 9 km/h

We need to find the Charlotte's speed in meter per second.

We know 1 kilometer = 1000 meter

And 1 hour = 3600 seconds.

Plugging those values of km and hour in given speed in km/h, we get

9\ \frac{km}{h} = 9\times \ \frac{1000m}{3600 seconds}

=\frac{10m}{4s}= 2.5\ m/s.

Therefore,

<h3>Charlotte's speed in meter/second is 2.5m/s.</h3>
