It's actually quite easy. Find a factor of both 30 and 5, and then divide them both by the numbers. Can 5 go into both numbers? Yes. 5 goes into both 30, and it goes into five.

30 ÷ 5 = 6.

5 ÷ 5 = 1.

Your answer is \frac{6}{1}. And once that is done and divided (6 ÷ 1) your answer would be 6. 30 divided by 5 simplified would be 6 over 1. And 6 over 1, once figured out, would be 6. And there's your answer.

Given that f(x)=x^2-4x -3 and g(x)=x+3/4 solve for f(g(x)) when x=9
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

f(g(9)) = 945/16

Step-by-step explanation:

To find f(g(x)), you have to substitute g(x) wherever there is an x in f(x).

g(x) = x + 3/4

f(x) = x² - 4x - 3

f(g(x)) = (x + 3/4)² - 4(x + 3/4) - 3

f(g(x)) = x² + 3/2x + 9/16 - 4x + 3 - 3

f(g(x)) = x² - 5/2x + 9/16 + 3 - 3

f(g(x)) = x² - 5/2x + 9/16

Now, put a 9 wherever there is an x in f(g(x)).

f(g(9)) = (9)² - 5/2(9) + 9/16

f(g(9)) = 81 - 5/2(9) + 9/16

f(g(9)) = 81 - 45/2 + 9/16

f(g(9)) = 117/2 + 9/16

f(g(9)) = 945/16

In which quadrant is ( 5,4 ) is located
this is hw and i wanna get a good grade plz helpp!!!!
Andre45 [30]
(5,4)

On a system of 2 perpendicular axis with O as origine, the pair (5,4) means:

5 is the distance from the origin O and situated on x-axis (on the right of O)
4 is the distance from the origin O and situated on y-axis (above O)

Then the pair (5,4) is situated in the 1st Quadrant

Unit rates can be helpful with creating a ratio table and plotting the equivalent ratios on a coordinate plane. Explain why. PLE
uysha [10]

Answer:

Unit rate is often a useful means for comparing ratios and their associated rates when measured in different units. The unit rate allows us to compare varying sizes of quantities by examining the number of units of one quantity per one unit of the second quantity. This value of the ratio is the unit rate.

4✓6 × 3✓6
multiply and simplify
show work
mafiozo [28]

Answer:

3

√

2

Explanation:

First put change the words into an equation:

√

3

×

√

6

Now you can multiply them together as you would normally multiply:

√

3

×

√

6

=

√

18

Now let's prime factor 18 and see if there are any squares that we can take out of it to simplify. All we have to see is if there are 2 numbers that are the same:

18

/ \

6

3

/ \

2

3

As you can see, we have a square:

3

×

3

=

9

So take

√

9

out of

√

18

. You should have:

√

9

√

2

But since

√

9

=

3

we can simplify further to make:

√

9

√

2

→

3

√
