1. What are your thoughts on the Milgram Experiment? Do you believe that it is human nature to be obedient and please authority

despite moral or ethical considerations? Do you believe this experiment explains the obedience of the German people? Explain.
2. Herman Goering, one of Hitler's propaganda ministers, once said that it is quite easy to manipulate people into giving up liberty or to act on the government's behest. All one must do is incite fear and invoke patriotism, however misplaced. Do you believe this is true? Why/why not?
