Lets list the differences in the above list : these are  2 5 11 23 47:

 call this  list a

This  last list has difference 3 6 12 24 (list b)  so next number in this list is 48  and next number in list a is  47+48 = 95

In the original sequence therefore the next number is 89 + 95 =  184

so the  list  a and b  are   2  5  11  23  47  95                    List a

                                           3  6  12   24  48                        List b

The next number in list  b is 96 and the next in list a is 96 + 95 =  191

so next number in sequence in question = 184 + 191 =  375

Next number in list b is 192 and  next in list a =  191 + 192 = 383

So last number in sequence = 375 + 383  =  758

Next 3 numbers are 184, 383 and 758 answer

Sorry but I cant figure out the  explicit rule at moment. I'll  try and come back with it.

Suppose that a die-hardly-ever battery has an exponential time-to-failure distribution with a mean of 48 months. at 60 months, t
mel-nik [20]

Since the time to failure distribution is exponential, the distribution is F (n) = 1 – e ^ (-x/48)

The probability of failure between months 60 and 72 is the same as the probability that the battery will fail in 12 months, since the exponential distribution is memoryless F (12) = 0.221

An integer is chosen at random from 1 to 50 inclusive. Find the probability that the chosen integer is divisible by 3. 8/25 3/10
pogonyaev

How many numbers from 1 to 50 are multiples of 3?

3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 .......

Let's change the start and end value of the array and find the number of terms

Start at 3 and go all the way to 48 because those are the first and last multiples of 3 in this array.

There is a formula that allows us to quickly find the number of terms

We subtract the first term from the last term and divide by the amount of increase, then we add 1.

(48 - 3) / 3 + 1   =   16 numbers are exactly divisible by 3.

We have 50 numbers and 16 of them divisible by 3

16 / 50  = 8 / 25 probability

In ABC, angle B is one half the angle A and angle C is 15 less than the angle A. What are the measures of the angles of ABC?
klasskru [66]

Answer:

∠A =  78°  , ∠B  = 39° and ∠C  = 63°

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the measure of angle A = m°

So, according to the question

Angle B = (m/2)°

Angle C = (m - 15)°

Now by ANGLE SUM PROPERTY, the sum pf all angles of a triangle is 180°

⇒ ∠A  +∠B  + ∠C   =  180°

or, m + (m/2) + (m -15) = 180°

Solving for m , we get 2m + (m/2) = 180 + 15

or,\frac{5m}{2}  = 165\\or, m = 195 \times \frac{2}{5}

or, m =  78°

Hence ∠A =  78°

∠B = (m/2) = (78/2) = 39°

and ∠C = (m -15) = 78 - 15 = 63°

a woman wants to build a rectangular Garden she plans to use a side of the shed for one of the sides of the garden. she has 96 y
Yakvenalex [24]
If the woman's shed is used as one side of the garden, she will only have to use her fencing for 3 sides of the shape. So, if you divide 96 by 3, each side should be 32 yards. Then, to find the area, multiply 32 (one side) by 32 (another side) to equal 1,024 yards².

Sounds like it will be big enough for whatever she wants!
Hope this helps :)
