Wave speed = frequency * wavelength

We need to rearrange this equation because we are finding the wavelength :

Wavelength = wave speed / frequency

To rearrange it, I just divided it by frequency so that wavelength was the subject.

Now, input these numbers into this equation :
Wavelength = wave speed / frequency
Wavelength = 25 / 5
Wavelength = 5m

The act of distributing land to an individual as salary, donation, present or reward is called birta. There was the Birta system during the Malla, Shah and Rana rule in the country.

Explanation:

Act: (a) "Birta land" means any kind of land obtained or possessed in such a way that the land is wholly exempt from the State Land Tax, or that the tax payable thereon is less than the tax imposed on Raikar land of similar type in the same place, and this term also includes any land as defined in Clauses

A U-shaped tube, open to the air on both ends, contains mercury. Water is poured into the left arm until the water column is 10.
Masja [62]

Answer:

0.368 cm

Explanation:

x = distance by which the mercury rise

d = depth of the water = 10 cm = 0.10 m

ρ = density of water = 1000 kgm⁻³

ρ' = density of mercury = 13600 kgm⁻³

P₀ = atmospheric pressure

Using equilibrium of pressure on both side

P₀ + ρ g d = P₀ + ρ' g (2x)

(1000) (0.10) = (13600) (2x)

x = 0.00368 m

x = 0.368 cm

You throw a 3.00 N rock vertically into the air from ground level. You observe that when it is 16.0 m above the ground, it is tr
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

The final speed of the stone as it lift the ground is 23.86 m/s.

Explanation:

Given that,

Force acting on the rock, F = 3 N

Distance, d = 16 m

Initial speed of the stone, u = 22 m/s

We need to find the rock's speed just as it left the ground. It can be calculated using work energy theorem as :

W=\Delta E\\\\W=\dfrac{1}{2}m(v^2-u^2)\\\\Fd=\dfrac{1}{2}m(v^2-u^2)\\\\v^2=\dfrac{2Fd}{m}+u^2\\\\v^2=\dfrac{2mgd}{m}+u^2\\\\v^2=2\times 9.8\times 16+(16)^2\\\\v=23.86\ m/s

So, the final speed of the stone as it lift the ground is 23.86 m/s.

What is the purpose of chloroplasts, and why do you think it is missing from the root hair cell?
Karolina [17]

Explanation:

Mitochondria are essential parts of many eukaryotes, but they are useless without oxygen. Therefore, chloroplasts are extremely important. They produce breathable air for life. Root hairs are seen to not have chloroplasts as their job is to collect water and nutrients.
