Answer:

Length of Marliens house = (\frac{7}{2}x-4)\text{ or }(\frac{9}{2}x-18) .

Width of Marliens house = (2x-2).

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to find the length and width of Marlien's home in algebraic expressions.

Add length of living room, hallway and kitchen, to find the length of Marlien's home.

Length of Marlien's home = (2x+2)+(\frac{1}{2}x-4)+(x-2)=\frac{7}{2}x-4

Or we can add Master bedroom,guest room, hallway and bathroom, to find the length of Marlien's home.

Length of Marlien's home = (2x-10)+(x-2)+(\frac{1}{2}x-4)+(x-2)=\frac{9}{2}x-18

Add width of living room and Master bedroom to find the width of Marlien's home.

Width of Marlien's home = x+(x-2)=2x-2

Hence, the length of Marliens house is either (\frac{7}{2}x-4)\text{ or }(\frac{9}{2}x-18)  and width of Marliens house is (2x-2).

This is telling you to find out the dimensions of her house.
I suggest using mathpapa for each equation. It will show you how to solve it and then the answer.
So for the top dimensions, put the following into mathpapa: (2x-10)+(x-2)+(.5x-4)+(x-2)

Given: AC bisects angle BCD , Angle ABC is congruent to angle ADC prove AB is congruent to AD. Help immediately
weeeeeb [17]

<em>AC bisects ∠BAD, => ∠BAC=∠CAD ..... (1)</em>

<em>thus in ΔABC and ΔADC,    ∠ABC=∠ADC (given), </em>

<em>                                       ∠BAC=∠CAD      [from (1)],</em>

<em>AC (opposite side side of ∠ABC) = AC (opposite side side of ∠ADC), the common side between ΔABC and ΔADC</em>

<em>Hence,      by AAS axiom, ΔABC ≅ ΔADC,</em>

<em>Therefore,  BC (opposite side side of ∠BAC) = DC (opposite side side of ∠CAD),  since (1)</em>

<em />

Hence, BC=DC proved.

The difference of two rational numbers is always negative true of false
Vlada [557]

Comparing two rational numbers

Use fraction form:

Make the denominators the same and compare the numerators. The number with the smaller numerator is smaller. For example, to compare a/b and c/d, we rewrite

a/b=a*d/b*d

  = ad/bd and c/d = c*b/d*b=bc/bd

Now just compare the numerators : "ad" and "bc"

Multiplying and Dividing Rational Numbers

Multiplying and dividing rational numbers in decimal form is the same as multiplying and dividing integers. The decimal place of the product is the same of all decimals of all multiplied numbers. For example, 3.12*2.4.

Solution => 3.12*2.4=7.488

When multiplying or dividing rational numbers in fractional form, you multiply the numerators (N*N) and then multiply the denominators (D*D).

When dividing rational numbers in fractional form, first take the reciprocal of the divisor, and then multiply the numerators and the denominators.

Example => 5/9 divided by 2/7 .

Solution => 5/9 * 7/2 =  35/18

Adding Rational numbers

Adding and Subtracting rational numbers in decimal form is the same as adding and subtracting integers.

Example => -3.54+2.79=-0.75

When adding or subtracting rational numbers in fractional form, first make the denominator equal, and then add or subtract the numerators.

The difference can be negative or positive.

The graph represents a functionE(t). Describe why the graph represents a function. Identify the
barxatty [35]

Answer:

Domain: [0, ∞)

Range: [7850, ∞)

Step-by-step explanation:

A function is defined by the set of ordered pairs having different output values for every input value.

In the graph attached, for every input value (x-coordinates) there is a unique output (y-coordinates) value.

Therefore, graph represents a function.

Domain of the given function → [0, ∞)

Range of the function → [7850, ∞)
