English Influences on Government
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

The most important right in the English Bill of Rights is that the government should protect the right to free speech: "The freedom of speech and debates or proceedings in Parliament ought not to be impeached or questioned in any court or place out of Parliament." Freedom of speech stops powerful people from taking control of the government and allows people to feel comfortable with speaking up for what they believe in. It also gives people the opportunity to hear different sides of an argument and to perhaps change their own opinion. While other rights are important, the right to free speech affects all and is one that is cherished by all. For this and the above reasons, I believe the right to free speech is most important to my government today.

Answer: Option D

Explanation:

Balte studied the development of humans especially in the old age. He gave the theory of selection, optimization and compensation known as the SOC model. The theory studies how developmental success of old people takes place. Compensation is a process wherein the old aged or the elderly reduce their performance.

Here, Arthur Rubinstein uses compensation to make use of strategies. This is because he is not very active and performs in a slow manner. At all functional levels, he uses compensation to ensure that he is able to cope up with his status.

irakobra [83]

Answer:

Woodcock spent World War II working as a conscientious objector on a farm in Essex, and in 1949, moved to British Columbia. At Camp Angel in Oregon, a camp for conscientious objectors, he was a founder of the Untide Press, which sought to bring poetry to the public in an inexpensive but attractive format. Following the war, he returned to Canada, eventually settling in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 1955, he took a post in the English department of the University of British Columbia, where he stayed until the 1970s. Around this time he started to write more prolifically, producing several travel books and collections of poetry, as well as the works on anarchism for which he is best known.
