Answer:

Option C

equation :  y-5=\frac{3}{4} (x-6)

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Point slope form Equation</u> states that the equation of a straight line in the form y-y_{1}=m(x-x_{1});   where m is the slope of the line.

We have to find the equation for line AB.

From the figure, we have

The coordinate of A(x_{2} , y_{2}) =  ( -2, -1) and  B(x_{1} , y_{1}) = (6 ,5)

First find the value of m:

m = \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}

Now, substitute the points of A and B into slope m:

m = \frac{-1-(5)}{-2-(6)} or

m =\frac{-6}{-8} = \frac{3}{4}

Then, the equation of line: y-y_{1}=m(x-x_{1})

Substitute the value of slope in above equation and the coordinates of (x_{1} , y_{1}) we have,

y-5=\frac{3}{4} (x-6)

Therefore, the equation for the point slope form is, y-5=\frac{3}{4} (x-6)

Find the 7th term of the geometric sequence with the given terms.
ohaa [14]

Answer:

1. 1458

2. 500 or -500

Step-by-step explanation:

1. a4=54, a5=162

r = 162/54 = 3

a7 = a5 × r²

= 162 × 3² = 1458

2.a4=-4, a6=-100

r² = -100/-4 = 25

r = +/- 5

a7 = a6 × r

= -100 × +/- 5

= +/- 500

Mary's soccer team lost 30% of its 20 games last season they did not tie any games how many games did they lose
Rus_ich [418]
It has been given in the question that Mary's team had lost 30% of the total of 20 games. There has been no ties for this team. It is required to find the number of matches that Mary's team lost.
Total number of games played = 20
Percentage of games lost by Mary's team = 30%
Number of games lost by Mary's team = (30/100) * 20
                                                               = 3 * 2
                                                               = 6
So Mary's team lost 6 games in all. I hope this is the answer you were looking for. The process is easy once you understand the words of the problem.
