Since it says that OF bisects EOG, it means that the angles on either side have the same measure (i.e. EOF = FOG).

We can use this to solve by setting the expressions equal to each other and solving for y.

y+30=3y-50
2y=80
y=40

Which graph represents the solution to the given system ? Y=- 6X - 2Y +2=- 6X
Nonamiya [84]

Answer: The graph is attached.

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of the line in Slope-Intercept form is:

y=mx+b

Where "m" is the slope and "b" is the y-intercept.

Given the first equation:

y=- 6x - 2

You can identify that:

m=-6\\b=-2

By definition, the line intersects the x-axis when y=0. Then, subsituting this value into the equation and solving for "x", you get that the x-intercept is:

0=- 6x - 2\\\\2=-6x\\\\x=-\frac{1}{3}\\\\x=-0.333

Now you can graph it.

Solve for "y" from the second equation:

y +2=- 6x\\\\y=-6x-2

You can identify that:

m=-6\\b=-2

Notice that the slopes and the y-intercepts of the first line and the second line are equal; this means that they are exactly the same line and the System of equations has Infinitely many solutions.

See the graph attached.

What is the area of the front of the rectangular prism?
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

Area = 28 cm² (check the attached diagram for better clarity)

Step-by-step explanation:

The question is incomplete but let's see a similar example

The front of a rectangular pyramid can refer to either one of two possibilities: it could be either the side that has the breadth and the height or the side that has the length and the height. In this case, we were given the formula for calculating the area of the front face of this rectangular prism as the product of breadth and height

Mathematically,

A = bh

From the attached diagram, we will see the properties of the rectangular prism as:

length = 5 cm, breadth = 4 cm, height = 7 cm

To calculate for the front face, we use A = bh,

⇒ A = 4 * 7 = 28 cm²

Example 2

If the breadth of the rectangular prism is 2 cm and the height is 3 cm, we have:

A = 2 * 3 = 6 cm²

Compare the table and equation.
iren2701 [21]
The slope formula is y2 - y1/x2 - x1.

First plug in x = 1, x = 2, and x = 3 in to the equation y = 4x to find the first 3 points(Like the first three are shown for the table.) which are (1, 4), (2, 8), and (3, 12).
The slope of the table would be 9 - 3/3 - 1, after subtracting you get 6/2. You would then divide 6 by 2, which gives you 3. 3 is the slope of the table.

The slope of the equation goes through the same process. 12 - 4/3 - 1, after subtracting it's 8/2, and after dividing you get 4. The slope of the equation is 4.

This means the equation has the greater slope.
