These are known as mutualistic relationships. Some examples are: bees and flowers, the bees use the flowers pollen to make food, the flowers pollen is spread around by the bees so that they can reproduce. Another example is a clown fish and anemone, the clown fish cleans and gathers food for the anemone whilst the clown fish gains protection and a home from the anemone. Both get something from the other.

You can use the example of dogs and humans, Dogs give protection and companionship while humans give a home and food to the dog!
