Ans.

Glycolysis is an universal metabolic process that takes place in cytosol of all living cells. It involves breakdown of glucose molecules into pyruvate to produce energy in the form of ATP as during glycolysis, one glucose molecule is converted into two pyruvate molecules, and 2 ATP molecules and 2 NADH molecules are released.

Thus, 'the main transformation that takes place during glycolysis is breakdown of glucose molecule into pyruvate, NADH and ATP molecules.'

How does algae reproduce? Select the best answer.
Step2247 [10]
I believe your best answer would be the third option, both sexually and asexually. Some types of algae reproduce asexually due to the division of one cell into two or even more brand new cells that are genetically similar to the parent cell. However, other types of algae participate in sexual multi-cell reproductive cycles.
I hope this has answered your question and I do apologise if I am wrong. Good luck on your assignment :)

Which of the following is not found in bacteria? Which of the following is not found in bacteria? control of chromatin remodelin
sergij07 [2.7K]

Answer:

Control of both RNA splicing and chromatin remodeling control of RNA splicing.

Explanation:

RNA is present as genetic material but in case of some viruses only. RNA contains the nitrogenous base ( adenine, guanine, uracil and cytosine), oxyribose sugar and phosphate group.

The bacteria do not have well developed nucleus so no chromatin remodification occurs in case of bacteria. Bacteria is devoid of introns and contains only exons in its RNA structure. The splicing process is not required in case of bacteria.

Thus, the correct answer is option (4).
