First you convert 1.5 liters to milliliters which is 1500 then you subtract 295 and that equals 1205 milliliters and subtract you friend drank amount which is 135 milliliter and that equals 1070 milliliter so you have 1.07 liters left.

Answer

Find out the how much water is left .

To prove

As given

You have a 1.5 litre bottle of water and drink 295 millilitres.

Your friend drinks 135 millilitres.

1 milllilitre = 0.001 litre

Now convert 295 millilitres and 135 millilitres in litre units.

295 millilitres = 0.001 × 295

                       = 0.295 litres

135 millilitres =  0.001 × 135

                     = 0.135 litres

Water is left = 1.5 -  0.295 -  0.135

                    = $ 1.07

Therefore the water is left in the water bottel is $ 1.07 .

The rate of growth in the tree is 4 feet per year.

Height of tree at year 0 = 2 feet

Height of tree at year 1 = 6 feets

Height of tree at year 0 = 10 feets

Therefore, the difference in the heights of the tree from the previous year will be:

= 6 feet - 2 feet.

= 4 feet

In conclusion, the correct option is B.

Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

x = 35

y = 17.5

Step-by-step explanation:

By Central angle and its corresponding arc theorem:

x° = 360° - (175° + 150°)

x° = 360° - 325°

x° = 35°

x = 35

By inscribed angle theorem:

y \degree =  \frac{1}{2} x \\  \\ y\degree =   \frac{1}{2}  \times 35 \degree \\  \\ y\degree =  17.5 \degree \\  \\ y \:  = 17.5
