To find the standard error, divide the standard deviation by the square root of the sample size

standard deviation = 7.5
sample size = 25......sqrt 25 = 5

standard error = 7.5 / 5 = 1.5 <==

Look at the last number in the decimal.

12.66
12.63

Compare 6 and 3. 6 is larger so therefore 12.6666666 is larger. (You also need to compare the tenths place too, but these happen to have the same tenths place, .6.

Is she correct ?????? HELP !!
garik1379 [7]
Here, volume of two shapes doesn't relate with each other, so if one has double dimensions than the other, then it's volume won't be exactly double than the other, 'cause they formula's are very different.

Volume of a Cylinder = πr²h
v = π(4)²(6)
v = 96π

Volume of a cone = 1/3 πr²h
v = 1/3 π (8)²(12)
v = 256π

So, Ratio = 256π/96π = 128/48 = 64/24 = 32/12 = 16/6 = 8/3 [ Not 2 ]

In short, She is Incorrect!

Hope this helps!

How to Identify the source of Bias?

The source of bias that affected the confidence interval, but is not included among the sources covered by the margin of error is; Under coverage Bias

The reason why I picked under coverage bias is because we see from the survey that they send a survey home with a random sample of students in the district. However, when the survey was not completed, calls are made to ensure responses are obtained from the parents of every selected student. Then the question is changed again.

Thus, it is clear that not all was captured and that is why we go with under coverage bias.
