An organ or bone that appears in different animals with same function is called homologous structure.

Different animals have bones that appear very similar in form or function and seem to be related.

The arm of a human, the wing of a bird or a bat, the leg of a dog and the flipper of a dolphin or whale are homologous structures. They are different and have a different purpose, but they are similar sharing common traits.

The forelimbs of all mammals have the same basic bone structure. The structures are similar because they evolved to do the same job.  For example, the wings of bats and birds.

Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. why does it captivate you? wha
zzz [600]
I sense that this is a subjective question. Well, for me, I find great interest in the HBO TV series, Game of Thrones. It is because of the unpredictable plot, the well-thought story and the high investment on the production. I tend to discuss the events that happened in the series with friends who also watch it. Other times, I read online fan theories just to suffice my curiosity.

What might max weber suggest is the primary difference between a lawyer in the united states and the self-made millionaire of a
Naddika [18.5K]
Wealth, power, and prestige--these three elements make up Weber's theory of social class.

In the case above, both have power over others, but their wealth is likely different as the self-made man is a millionaire and lawyers don't typically make that much. The biggest difference would likely be the level of prestige or respect each would get from others. The US values the self-made man over a lawyer.
