Reflectional symmetry is the mirror image of one side of image to the other when we divide the image. In other words it is one half of image is the reflection of other half of image.

In isosceles trapezoid, the length of the sides are same . the bases are not same.

When we draw a vertical line in the middle of  isosceles trapezoid, the left side of the image is the reflection of right side .

So there is only one line of reflection symmetry.

The slope of the line below is 2. Which of the following is the the point-slope form of the line?
Jobisdone [24]

Answer:  y + 1 = 2 (x -1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Point slope form is:

y - y1 = m (x - x1)

Point on the line is (1, -1) and slope is 2

m = 2

y1 = -1

x1 = 1

y - (-1) = 2 (x - 1) or y + 1 = 2 (x -1)

Communicate mathematical ideas why might you want to use the commutative property to change the order of the integers in the fol
Kruka [31]

I might want to use the commutative property to change the order of the integers in the following sum before adding the given expression

"-80 + (-173)+(-20)"

As commutative property states that " Changing the order of addends does not change the sum" which means if we add 'a' to 'b' or 'b' to 'a', we will get the same answer.

Therefore, here if we add '-80' to '-173' or '-173' to '-80' , or if we add '-173' to '-20' or '-20' to '-173' , we will get the same answer.

Therefore, we might use commutative property to change the order the of integers in the following sum.

How to solve -40=30m-16?
Gennadij [26K]
What I would do for this problem, is move all the terms that don't contain m to the right side, and then solve.
m = 4/5.
