Answer:

Here are three categories of president's powers and specific powers sorted into each category:

<em>Military powers </em>

  • Leading armed forces

<em>Diplomatic powers </em>

  • Recognizing nations
  • Making treaties

<em>Executive powers </em>

  • Granting pardons
  • Nominating officials
  • Signing legislation

Explanation:

<u>Military powers</u> include actions involved in the warfare and military conflicts, for example leading armed forces.

<u>Diplomatic powers</u> concern relations with other countries and international organisations, for example recognizing nations.

<u>Executive powers</u> include actions of governing the state. Though signing legislation is an example of power related to legislation, it still should be included in the category of Executive powers, because president is a part of executive branch.

Construction of a solar power plant is proposed for a desert area near a school. a student has hypothesized that the shade cast
Vaselesa [24]

In order for the student to be able to properly test the hypothesis, it will be needed that certain data is collected first. The student will have to take the most important things in consideration about the creosote bush, like would it be able to survive under shade (much limited sunlight), would it be able to sustain increased amount of moisture (the solar panels will keep some of the moisture below them), but also being exposed under high temperature. The conditions for the creosote bush will change significantly, so these three things will be of crucial importance to be tested, since it is a very specialized plant, and those types of plants usually react very badly on sudden changes.

Jim, who is prejudiced against Jewish people, is likely to attribute a Jewish person’s stereotype-inconsistent actions, such as
Alja [10]

Answer:

Jim, who is prejudiced against Jewish people, is likely to attribute a Jewish person’s stereotype-inconsistent actions, such as an act of philanthropy, to <u>seasonal causes</u>. In contrast, Jim is likely to attribute a Jewish person’s stereotype-consistent actions, such as self-interested behavior, to <u>dispositional causes.</u>.\

Explanation:

Dispositional attribution: It is based on a person's personality or characteristics. Internal characcteristics (personality traits) cause people to act the way they do

For example: I wrote a bad essay because I decided not to study

Situational Attribution: It is based on a person's situation or environment. External environment (Teacher, President , Police officer)  cause the people to act the way they do

For example: I wrote a bad essay because I didn't get the prompt.

Hence, Jim, who is prejudiced against Jewish people, is likely to attribute a Jewish person’s stereotype-inconsistent actions, such as an act of philanthropy, to <u>seasonal causes</u>. In contrast, Jim is likely to attribute a Jewish person’s stereotype-consistent actions, such as self-interested behavior, to <u>dispositional causes.</u>.\
