=12+3+5+6

There are infinite ways of writing the original problem, i am writing few ways

1. 12.10 +2.95+5.05+6.06----Rounding tenth and Hundreth to nearest ones that is a whole number.

there is a cone-shaped pile of salt on the floor 3 inches tall and with a diameter of 10 inches. what is the scant of the anger
drek231 [11]

The scant of the cone is 5.83 in

Explanation:

Given:

Height, h of the cone = 3 in

Diameter, d = 10 in

Radius, r = 10/2 = 5 in

Scant, L = ?

Height, diameter and cone will form a right angle triangle.

Using pythagoras theorm:

(L)² = (h)² + (d)²

(L)² = (3)² + (5)²

(L)² = 34

L = 5.83 in

Therefore, the scant of the cone is 5.83 in
