The formula is y=mx+b
To get the slope or m, use this formula
(the second y minus the first y)/(the second x minus the first x)
Now set it up.
(10-7)/(2--1)
3/3=slope is 1.
y=1x+b

Insert one of the points for x and y.
i will do (-1,7)
7=1(-1)+b
7=-1+b
8=b
Insert this into the final equation:
y=1x+8

Try it out. If you're not sure, try both points. If it works, then you set it up correctly.

Which ordered pairs make both inequalities true? Check all that apply.
tresset_1 [31]
(0, -2) and (1, 1) both work in this system of equations.

The best way to find if it is a solution is to look for those points on the graph. When you graph the point, it needs to fall in an area where both lines or shaded or on a solid line.

(0, -2) falls on a solid line.

(1, 1) falls in the double shaded area.

Idk if this helped you but , symmetric forms a mirror image of itself when reflected in its vertical line ( u shape ) and symmetric bell shaped is when you draw the vertical line at the center
