According to newton's second law of motion, the force acting on an object varies directly with the object's acceleration. suppos

The newton’s second law of motion states that force is directly proportional to acceleration. We can express this mathematically as:

F = k a

where F is the force acting on the object, a is the acceleration of the object and k is a constant of proportionality

Since k is a constant, then we can equate two conditions based on that value:

F1 / a1 = F2 / a2

We are given that:

F1 = 35 N

a 1 = 5 m/s^2

F2 = 49 N

a2 = unknown (?)

Therefore the new acceleration of the object is:

35 / 5 = 49 / a2

a2 = 49 * 5 / 35

a2 = 7 m/s^2

The new acceleration is <span>7 m/s^2.</span>

<h3>What is the gravitational force?</h3>

Newton's law of gravity states that each particle having mass in the universe attracts each other particle with a force known as the gravitational force.

The gravitational force is proportional to the product of the masses of the two bodies and inversely proportional to the square of their distance.

Given data

Mass of asteroid ,m₁ = 8.7 1020 kg

Mass of sally,m₂ = 67 kg

Gravitational constant,G = 6.6 × 10⁻¹¹ kg⁻² m²

Distance of seperation,R =  14,000 km

\rm F = G\frac{m_1m_2}{R^ 2} \\\\ F = 6.6 \times 10^{-11 }\times \frac{8.71020  \times 67 }{(14,000)^2}  \\\\F =  1.989 \times 10^{-11 } \ N

Hence, the force Sally experiences will be 1.989 × 10⁻¹¹  N.

The length of a simple pendulum is 0.760 m, the pendulum bob has a mass of 365 grams, and it is released at an angle of 12.0o to
Allushta [10]

Answer:

0.572 Hz

Explanation:

given,

length of simple pendulum, l = 0.76 m

mass of the bob, m = 365 g = 0.365 Kg

angle made from the vertical, = 12°

frequency, f = ?

f = \dfrac{1}{2\pi}\sqrt{\dfrac{g}{L}}

f = \dfrac{1}{2\pi}\sqrt{\dfrac{9.8}{0.76}}

f = \dfrac{1}{2\pi}\times 3.59

       f = 0.572 Hz

The frequency at which pendulum vibrates is equal to 0.572 Hz
