To find the halfway point, add the two numbers together and divide the total by 2.

1026+1254=2280

2280/2=1140

Answer:

A. 6

B. 3 and 3

Step-by-step explanation:

A) 8x3/4

B) since the area is three and you have to spit the triangle down the middle...

You draw a line diagonally from the top right corner to the bottom left corner and the area would be 3 and 3 because 6 in half is 3

Find the limit of (lnx)³/x as x approaches infinity.
EastWind [94]
Ok, so one way is like your way

so
if we test some numbers
for x=10
we get about 12.3/10≈1.2
for x=100000
we get 1522.03/100000≈0.01522
the top number keeps getting smaller reletive to bottom number
when x=1000000000
we get 8899.68/1000000000≈0.000009

we notice the bottom number is increaseing at a faster rate that the botom one
when x approaches infinity, the bottom number will be so big it will become a fraction that evaluates to basically zero becuase it evaluates to a very small number that is negligible

Determine the value of w and x in the figure below. (Thanks for the help I really appreciate it!)
storchak [24]
Triangle HAM looks like an isosceles triangle, and we know that in an isosceles triangle 2 of the angles are the same.

so :
180 - 106 = 74 ( sum of the other 2 angles )
74/2 = 37 ( sum of angle HMA / HAM )

angles on a straight line add up to 180.
180-37=143 ( angle x )

since triangle YMH is also an isosceles,
180-37=143
143/2=71.5 ( angle w )

Find the following integral. <br> Integrate x + 5/x^2 +10x +26 dx
sweet-ann [11.9K]

Given :

Polynomial , f(x)=x+\dfrac{5}{x^2}+10x+26 .

To Find :

Integration of f(x) .

Solution :

We know , integration of x^n is :

\int x^n \, dx = \dfrac{x^{n+1}}{n+1}+C

( Here , is C is a constant )

Now ,

\int f(x)\ dx=\int( x+\dfrac{5}{x^2}+10x+26)dx\\ \\ \int f(x)\ dx= \int x\ dx+\int 5x^{-2}\ dx+\int 10 x \ dx +26\ dx\\ \\ \int f(x)\ dx=\dfrac{x^2}{2}+\dfrac{5\times x^{-1}}{(-1)}+\dfrac{10x^2}{2}+26x+C\\\\ \int f(x)\ dx=\dfrac{11x^2}{2}+26x-5x^{-1}+C

Therefore , the integration is \dfrac{11x^2}{2}+26x-5x^{-1}+C .

Hence , this is the required solution .

9x^2 - 8x - 1 = 0<br> What are the x intercepts?
sasho [114]
9x^2  - 8x - 1 = 0

(9x + 1(x - 1) = 0

x = -1/9 , 1

x intercepts are -1/9 and 1.
