1. In order to obtain energy the animals must consume food. In the body of the animal the food is broken down and energy is released which is utilized to  perform the cell metabolism and functions like locomotion, respiration and reproduction.

2. A vulture obtains it's energy by scavenging. Scavenging is a process of consumption of dead and decaying animals by other animals and birds. The organisms which feed on the dead and decaying animals are carnivores.

3. Water is the basis need for all organisms. The body composition of organisms consists of major portions of water. It is a universal solvent as it dissolves it in various biomolecules that are required for metabolism. The basic need for water is for drinking.

4. The coarse fur is made up of cells. The cells are the basic units of life. The group of cells forms the tissues and the tissues forms the organs. The cells are the basic components of the blood, skin, nerves and also the coarse fur hence, the cells forms the cellular organization.

5. The organisms are classified on the basis of their features which prove them they are living beings. Like plants, animals, reptiles, birds and microbes. Among the option given, the apple is a plant product but it is not a plant in itself. Therefore, it cannot be classified as an organism.
