Which element of weather is caused by a difference in air pressure between two air masses?

Chemistry

Wind results due to difference in air pressure of air masses. Due to difference in pressure of two air masses, low pressure zone is created by lifting of one the air mass above the other as the movement of air takes place from higher pressure area to lower pressure area. This causes different wind speed in different areas. The direction of wind depends on its origin for example, a northerly wind always moves from north to south direction.

If a pond is located in an area with significant amounts of air pollution, which health measure would be most directly affected?
brilliants [131]
The correct answer is A because pollution is a leading factor of pollution.
The accumulation of toxins in the pond from the poor air quality will lead to a change in the acidity of the pond.

I hope I helped! :)

How many atoms of oxygen are present in the reactants<br> 6CO2+6H2O=C6H12O6+6O2
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

3.6132 * 10^24 atoms/molecules of 02

Explanation:

When we look at the balanced chemical equation, we can see that there are 6 moles of O2.

In order to convert from moles to formula units (atoms and molecules),

you need to multiply by avogadro's number.

6 moles * 6.022*10^{23}/1 mol = 3.6132 * 10^24 atoms/molecules of 02

Enter the chemical formula of a binary molecular compound of hydrogen and a Group 6A element that can reasonably be expected to
NARA [144]

Answer:

Any binary molecular compound of hydrogen and a Group 6A element above Selenium will be less acidic, so water and dihydrogen sulfide are less acidic in aqueous solution than hydrogen selenide.

Explanation:

Going down in a group increases the atomic radius and a greater atomic radius implyes greater ionic radius.

When ionization takes place in these compounds they yelds protons (hidrogen ion) and an lewis base (anion). The greater the ionic radius the greater its stability, thus the periodic tendency is increaing the acidity of binary hidrogen compounds when going down a group. On the other hand going up a group decreases acidity, so any molecular compound of hydrogen and a Group 6A element above Selenium will be less acidic, so water and dihydrogen sulfide are less acidic in aqueous solution than hydrogen selenide.
