We have to calculate the total cost of the meal. We know that Adam ( A ) and his dad ( D ) share the cost of the meal in the ratio 2 : 3 and that Adam`s dad pays 52.20 Pounds. So A : D = 2 : 3; A : 52.20 = 2 : 3. Using the cross products, A * 3 = 2 * 52.20; A * 3 = 104.40; A = 104.40 : 3; A = 34.80 Pounds. Finally, A + D = 34.80 + 52.20 = 87.00. Answer: The total cost of the meal is 87 Pounds.

mina [271]
Remember

we can do anything to an equation as long as we do it to both sides

try to isolate the variable

you have 2 types
x+b=c
x/b=c

fior the first type, minus b from both sides to get
x=c-b

for the second, multiply both sides by b to get rid of the fraction to get
x=cb

also remember that -x times -1=x

b.add 25 to both sides
-a=20
multiply -1
a=-20

c.
-t/8=-4
multiply both sides by 8
-t=-32
mutiply -1
t=32

d. -n/-5=-30
mulitply both sides by -5
-n=150
multiply both sides by -1
n=-150

e. multiply both sides by 12
-l=144
multiply b y-1
l=-144

aivan3 [116]

Answer:

A: Angle J

Step-by-step explanation

If the two triangles are congruent then their corresponding angles are also congruent. This means that angle P is congruent to angle J, angle Q is congruent to angle K and angle R is congruent to angle L. Hope this helps :D
