He burns off 750 calories every 3 hours. 250 times 3 = 750. 3 is the number of hours he ran. And 3 times -250 = -750. -750 representing how many calories he gained(lost) in 3 hours. 250 represents hour many calories he lost in 1 hour, and -250 represents how many calories he gained(lost) in 1 hour. I would really appreciate it if I could get brainliest. Thanks!! =D

pychu [463]

Answer:

10 in by 48 in

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume (V) of a rectangular solid is calculated as

V = Ah ( A is the area of the base and h the height )

Here h = 3 and V = 1440 , then

3A = 1440 ( divide both sides by 3 )

A = 480 in²

The area of a rectangle = length × breadth

From the give options

10 × 48 = 480 ← is the only option

The mean number of hours of part-time work per week for a sample of 526526 college students is 2828. If the margin of error for
sveta [45]

Answer:

The 99% confidence interval for the mean number of hours of part-time work per week for all college students is between 25.8 and 30.2.

Step-by-step explanation:

A confidence interval has the following format.

\mu_{x} \pm M

In which \mu_{x} is the mean of the sample and M is the margin of error.

In this problem, we have that:

\mu_{x} = 28, M = 2.2

\mu_{x} - M = 28 - 2.2 = 25.8

\mu_{x} + M = 28 + 2.2 = 30.2

The 99% confidence interval for the mean number of hours of part-time work per week for all college students is between 25.8 and 30.2.
