Tortoise B because if you times 52 by 12 to convert it to inches you get 624. Okay now you gonna turn one hour to mins. By making it 60m.

its 624inches over 60minutes. Now you divide 60 to 624 and get

10.4inches per 1m
Verses 12inches per 1m.

B is faster by 2.6inches per minute.

Answer:

Tortoise B travels faster than tortoise A.

Step-by-step explanation:

Tortoise A walks 52.0 feet per hour

We have to convert the speed of Tortoise A inches/min.

1 feet = 12 inches

52 feet = 12 × 52 = 624 inches

1 hour = 60 minutes

Speed = \frac{Distance}{time}

so speed of tortoise A =  \frac{624}{60}

                                     = 10.4 inches / min.

Tortoise B travels 12 inches/min. and Tortoise A walks 10.4 inches/min.

Therefore, Tortoise B travels faster than tortoise A.

The population of a certain species of bird in a region after t years can be modeled by the function P(t)= 1620/1+1.15e^-0.042t
natka813 [3]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

The function is  \frac{1620}{1+1.15e^{-0.042t}}

To find the maximum population, we need to set t towards infinity to get our answer.

So, we replace time with maximum (\infty). Let's check:

\frac{1620}{1+1.15e^{-0.042t}}\\=\frac{1620}{1+\frac{1.15}{e^{0.042t}}}\\=\frac{1620}{1+\frac{1.15}{e^{0.042(\infty)}}}\\=\frac{1620}{1+\frac{1.15}{\infty}}\\=\frac{1620}{1+0}\\=\frac{1620}{1}\\=1620

The population of birds approaches 1620 as t goes towards infinity. So we can say the max population of the species is 1620.

Correct answer is A

Answer:

104x + 52

None of the expressions listed are equivalent to 52(2x + 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

52(2x + 1)

Apply the distributive law:  a(b + c) = ab + ac

⇒ 104x + 52

Therefore, 52(2x + 1) = 104x + 52
