Which statement describes the views of the Democratic-Republican Party?
Lostsunrise [7]

The correct answer is D. Powers not expressly given to the federal government belonged to the states.

The Democratic-Republican party was based on the ideas of several different individuals including Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. These men were in favor of a small central (aka federal) government. This shows that answer choices one and two are incorrect.

Along with this, the Democratic-Republicans believed that the state governments should have a significant amount of power. This is why these individuals believed that any power not given to the federal government should belong to the states.

How does the historian affect history? Historians do not include why events happen. Historians rarely affect history when record
s2008m [1.1K]

Historians affect history because the bias of historians will affect the way that they record events.

Whether intentional or unintentional, many historians include bias in their writing when recording events. Bias is your personal beliefs or attitudes skewed for or against a topic that influence your writing. If a historian includes this in their writing about an event, it can change the way that the event is perceived by the public. Many historians relay the facts in a similar manner, but it is the bias that makes their stories unique from one another and also how they affect history.

Hope this helps!
