2.Zero and negative numbers (This statements are "true". )

3.Quadratic equations and pi (This statements are "false".)

4.Solar and lunar eclipses (This statements are "false".)

Brahmagupta’s introduction of zero and negative numbers opened the door for abstract concepts. He took mathematics to another level—beyond using it just for dealing with money, goods, and construction.

Hello!

To find the slant height you use the equation

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a is radius
b is height
c is slant height

Put in the values you know

9^2 + 17^2 = c^2

square the numbers

81 + 289 = c^2

Add

370 = c^2

Take the square root of the number

19.2 = c

The answer is B)19m

Hope this helps!

One ball is to be selected from a box containing red, white, blue, yellow, and green balls. If the probability that the selected
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer:

30% probability that it will be yellow, or green

Step-by-step explanation:

The urn has red, white, blue, yellow, and green balls.

Each ball is chosen with the following probabilities:

1/10 = 10% probability it is red

2/5 = 40% probability it is white

1/5 = 20% probability it is blue.

p probability it is yellow or green

What is the probability that it will be yellow, or green

The sum of all probabilities is 100%. So

10 + 40 + 20 + p = 100

p = 30

30% probability that it will be yellow, or green
