We must consider everything in our body. All of the things that go into us can affect our vitality. Second, we must never force our body in one direction. This could always lead to problems. Balancing our health can be done through proper diet, normal water intake and exercise. Nourishment is also important since this can determine how well we act on our work.

Which of these statements is/are TRUE? Nonphototrophic organisms are able to grow at higher temperatures than phototrophic organ
miv72 [106K]

Answer:

All of the above are true.

Explanation:

The prokaryotic organisms are the unicellular primitive organism which was formed in the primitive time when the conditions on the Earth were harsh.

The prokaryotes developed the metabolism to survive in the extreme conditions and were recognised as the archaebacteria. These bacteria can tolerate extreme condition like hot temperature called thermophilic conditions. These thermophiles can grow at higher temperature conditions than the eukaryotes.

The thermophiles are non-phototrophic organism as they do not utilize the light energy to produce energy as phototrophic organisms does.

Thus, all of the true is correct.

In contrast to growing microtubules, shrinking microtubules ............. Group of answer choices have strong lateral interactio
Otrada [13]

Answer:

have curved protofilaments at their plus ends

Explanation:

Microtubules are polymers of tubulin proteins that function as the cytoskeleton of eukaryotic cells. Microtubules are dynamic structures that can grow and shrink at a rapid rate. During this process, tubulin subunits can associate and dissociate at the plus end of the protofilament. Tubulin subunits bind to two GTP molecules, one of which is hydrolyzed to GDP after assembly. When microtubules are unstable, protofilaments curl outwards because GDP-bound tubulin has a weak affinity (thereby curving it) and disassemble. The dynamic stability of microtubules is regulated by a feedback loop: when microtubules shrink, free tubulin concentration increases and microtubules start to grow. As microtubules grow, free tubulin concentration decreases and the rate of GTP-tubulin addition also decreases.

Which of these are the two major sources of nitrate pollution in rivers?
nikklg [1K]

Answer:

The correct answer is c. animal wastes and fertilizers.

Explanation:

Two major sources of nitrate pollution are farming and breeding activities. There are also certain industrial activities involved in nitrate pollution, but in general, these industries are related to agriculture.

The indiscriminate use of fertilizers for several years in intensive productions produce high nitrate concentration in soil and consequently elevate the risk of nitrate lixiviation.

Breeding animals produce nitrate pollution by their wastes, which accumulate and are not treated. These wastes include flesh, hair, feathers, skin, fat, liquids, excrements, among others. These wastes are an important source of nitrate.

In many cases, animal wastes are used by farmers as organic matter to improve their production. But excessive and incorrect use of it might produce severe damage in water sources.
