The substance giving off heat will lose some of its temperature to the substance receiving the heat because the substance receiving the heat absorbs the thermal energy. The receiving substance's temperature would then increase. Why can't ice transfer coldness into another substance? There is no such thing as coldness.

Which change in an abiotic factor causes coral bleaching? a. increased salinity b. decreased salinity c. decreased turbidity d.
Sedbober [7]

The answer is <u>"d. increased temperature".</u>

At the point when corals are stressed by changes in conditions, for example, temperature, light, or supplements, they remove the symbiotic algae living in their tissues, making them turn totally white. Hotter water temperatures can result in coral bleaching. At the point when water is too warm, corals will oust the algae living in their tissues, making the coral turn totally white. This is known as coral bleaching.

When a coral blanches, it isn't dead. Corals can endure a bleaching occasion, yet they are under more pressure and are liable to mortality.

The car salesman tells you that the car can go from a stop position to 60 mph in six seconds is giving you the car’s rate of
slava [35]
The salesman is telling you the average magnitude of the car's acceleration.

| Acceleration | = (change in speed) / (time for the change)

| Acceleration | = (60 mi/hr) / (6 sec)

| Acceleration | =  10 miles/hr-sec

That would be 36,000 miles per hour squared,
or 0.0028 mile per second squared.
