Answer:

Funcionalist perspective:

This perspective states that stratification in society is necessary, because there is a difference among the variaty of jobs, and that some jobs are more important than others. This difference called stratification generates inequality, but funcionalists thinks that while more specific a job is, society becomes more productive.

Conflict perspective:

This perspective is against stratification, they don´t agree on inequiality and they ask for it to be reviewed. The unfariness of the difference of salaries between a job and other can be out of proportion. The stratification generates class conflict.

Explanation:

Inequality and social classes:

Funcionalist perspective: thinks that inequality should happened because for instance there are jobs that requires more habilities than others, and are more complex, require more studies and preparation, or are more dangerous. Inequiality exists because some people are more prepare than others.

Conflict perspective: they think that inequality is due to the difference among social classes, dominant classes with more money and power, versus non dominant classes. Social stratification only benefits a small group of people, the one that has advantages of power and money. Not all people can have acces to the same education and preparation than others.

You are excited because your lab is studying the first microorganisms retrieved from Mars! Interestingly, their genetic material
Oliga [24]

Answer: The maximum number of amino acids that could be coded is 2

Explanation:

 • A codon in this microorganism is 2 bases instead of 3 bases .
 • In order to encode a protein a sequence requires a start and stop codon
 • If you assume no start codon: then only 2 bases would make up the stop codon.
 • This leaves 4 bases which is 2 codons. This would encode 2 amino acids.

 • If you assume a start and stop codon, then each codon would be allocated 2 base pairs each = 4 base pairs
 • This only leaves 2 base pairs, a single codon which would only code for 1 amino acid

Why does putting your name on a health behavior contract indicate your commitment to the contract?
dimulka [17.4K]
Because it is written. A popular tool used for motivation and commitment is the use of written contracts and often does not even need to be as lengthy as a contract. A slip of paper or even another writing surface has been shown to significantly increase the likelihood of committing to that action.

There is also premeditation involved when signing a contract or writing on a piece of paper. An individual has read and recognized the written words and then signed it according to a commitment to that act. As such there is a significant amount of thought put into the over procedure, and thus increases again the likelihood of an individual to be committed to completing those actions.

Aside from all the factors of motivation, the signing demonstrates commitment to the contract because that is fairly universally understood to be the way in which people recognize and formally commit to contracts. Whatever the context of the action, whether signing papers to buy a house or for a new job, the signing of the contract is the commitment of the individuals involved to complete the requirements within the contract. Although in this instance the healthier behavior most directly affects the individual who signs the paper.
