2. Which of the expressions below is equivalent to:
jok3333 [9.3K]

Step-by-step explanation:

4\sqrt{27} + 3\sqrt{12}

First, let's rewrite the numbers inside the square roots as factors that include squares:

4\sqrt{9 * 3} + 3\sqrt{4 * 3}

Now, we can take the square root of these squares, while keeping the remaining factor(s) inside of the square root:

(4*3)\sqrt{3} + (3*2)\sqrt{3}

12\sqrt{3} + 6\sqrt{3}

18\sqrt{3}

During the first year, ABC's stock price starts at $ \$100 $ and increases $ 100\% $. During the second year, its stock price go
Artemon [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

During the first year, ABC's stock price starts at $100 and increases by 100%. This means that the amount by which the stock increased would be

100/100 × 100 = $100

The new price of the stock would be 100 + 100 = $200

During the second year, its stock price goes down 25% from its price at the end of the first year. This means that the amount by which the stock reduced is

25/100 × 200 = 0.25 × 200 = $50

Therefore, the price of the stock, in dollars, at the end of the second year is

200 - 50 = $150

Does anybody understand writing equations in slope intercept form?
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

slope intercept form

y=mx+b

where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

if we change from point slope form

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

we distribute

y-y1 = mx -x*x1

then add y1 to each side

y = mx -x*x1+y1

remember x and y are variables and should stay in the equation

m,x1,y1 are numbers from the problem

you may have to calculate the slope (m) from the formula

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)  from two points on the line
