Fee for distance = total fee - initial fee = 12.70-2.20 = $10.50

Now, for 1 mile = $1.50

for x miles = 10.50/1.50 = 7

So, tom travel 7 miles.

zepelin [54]

Answer:

Number of guests = 13

Sauce = 52 ounces

Dough = 78 ounces

Step-by-step explanation:

you are having a pizza making party. You will need 6 ounces of dough and 4 ounces of sauce for each person at the party (including myself the host) Once you have a total count of guests you have exactly the amount needed for ingredients. the dough and sauce that I have is 130 ounces all together. How many ounces of dough did I buy? Explain How many ounces of sauce did I buy? Explain How many guests are coming to the party? Explain

Dough = 6 ounces

Suase = 4 ounces

Dough + sauce = 6 + 4 = 10

Let x = total number of guests

Dough ingredients + sauce ingredients = 130

10x = 130

Divide both sides by 10

x = 130/10

= 13

x = 13

Number of guests = 13

Total ounces of dough = 6 ounces × 13 guests

= 78 ounces of dough

Total ounces of sauce = 4 ounces × 13 guests

= 52 ounces of sauce

Therefore,

Number of guests = 13

Sauce = 52 ounces

Dough = 78 ounces

I'm doing a math sheet as an assignment due tomorrow and I'm stuck
Dafna1 [17]
Hi, so if x=0 and if y=x+5 then you would simply add 5 to x to get y, so in this case y=5. Then if x=1, then y would be 1+5, y=6. With the second part, it's the same thing. If x=1 and y=2x+3, all you have to do is multiply 1 by 2 wich = 2, then you would add 3 to that, wich is 5. And if x=2 and y=2x+3, then you would multiply 2 by 2, wich is 4, then add 3 to that wich would be 7.I hope this helps, respond to this answer if you have any comments or questions ;D
