<h3>Answer: 13,011.11 dollars</h3>

note: remember to take the comma out or ignore it. I put it in there to help make the number more readable

===========================================

Explanation:

Let x be the value of the sale in dollars.

x-1900 represents the leftover amount that is over 1900

eg: if x = 2200, then x-1900 = 2200-1900 = 300 is the the leftover amount

taking 9% of (x-1900) leads to the expression 0.09(x-1900) and this expression must be 1000 since this is the extra amount of money the salesman needs (he already has $1000 in base pay)

-------------

Solve for x

0.09(x-1900) = 1000

x-1900 = 1000/0.09

x-1900 = 11,111.11111 approximately

x = 11,111.11111 + 1900

x = 13011.1111

x = 13,011.11 rounding to the nearest cent

Express 19.79 as a mixed number.
sergey [27]
Write the decimal number as a fraction
(over 1)
19.79 = 19.79 / 1

Multiplying by 1 to eliminate 2 decimal places
we multiply top and bottom by 2 10's

Numerator = 19.79 × 10 × 10 = 1979

Denominator  = 1 × 10 × 10 = 100

Numerator / Denominator = 1979 / 100

Simplifying our fraction

= 1979/100

= 1979/100

= 19  79/100

Answer:

Answer:

safe speed for the larger radius track u= √2 v

Explanation:

The sum of the forces on either side is the same, the only difference is the radius of curvature and speed.

Also given that r_1= smaller radius

r_2= larger radius curve

r_2= 2r_1..............i

let u be the speed of larger radius curve

now, \sum F = \frac{mv^2}{r_1} =\frac{mu^2}{r_2}∑F=
