Answer with explanation:

It is given that ,According to Probability theory  there is a 56.6% chance of a particular basketball player making 5 free throws in a row.

If, Number of throws=5,000

So, number of throws in which basketball player will make 5 free throws

    =56.6 % of 5,000

   =\frac{56.6}{100}\times 5000=2830

Number of Simulation , in which the basketball player can have at least 1 missed free throw

 = 5000-2830

=2170

If (m, −3) is on a circle with center (2, −3) and radius 7, what is a value of m?
kvv77 [185]
Ok so
distance from (m,-3) to (2,-3) is 7 units

since the y value is the same, we don't even need to use distance formula

see how far 7 units from 2 is
-5 or 9
m can be -5 or 9
the point can be (-5,-3) or (9,-3)

Given the function f(x)=3+1/8x find a formula for the inverse function
Goshia [24]
F-1(x) = 8x - 24

You can get this by switching the x and f(x) and then solving for f(x)

f(x) = 3 + 1/8x ---> now switch them
x = 3 + 1/8f(x) ---> now subtract 3 from both sides
x - 3 = 1/8f(x) ---> now multiply both sides by 8
8x - 24 = f(x) ----> ANSWER
