A county is a small geographic area in the United States and its legal jurisdiction fall under the county attorney. Same is the case of district attorney at the district level. These attorneys are responsible to present the case of individuals and groups, engaged in breaking laws. They are also responsible for legal criminal proceedings and investigation of the offenders falling in their area of jurisdiction.
