If you're involved in a motor vehicle accident, these are the guidelines you should follow:

  1. Always stop if you're involved in the accident.
  2. Never admit responsibility for what happened. You have a contract with your insurance company and it says that you must NOT assume liability for the accident, let your insurance company do the talking.
  3. Unless the motor vehicles are causing a major problem with traffic, try not to move them until the police gets to the scene.
  4. Contact the police.
  5. It's better to limit your conversation about the accident with the other party. You should only talk about the accident with the police, insurance representative and medical professionals.

Answer:

Impression management

Explanation:

Impression management can be explained as a process in which people make attempt to control or influence other people's perception about an event or object. It can also be described as how people control how they are perceived by others.

In this case, the hitchhiker was trying to change the perception of others, that is, the people, towards the hitchhiker, which prevent them from getting help whenever they need one especially at this likely situation, by making a suitcase out of a gasoline can, so that he will look like a stranded motorist, and people will not be afraid of helping him.

Why was Europe unable to achieve the same level of political unity that China experienced in this era?
Travka [436]

Europe never had the unity it used to - the kind of unity China had because of geographic barriers, ethnic linguistic diversity, & shifting balances of power. Could not unite into Roman Empire. Rise to frequent wars, enhanced role of status of military men, and drove "gunpowder revolution."
